Low pressure reducing valve LPR/D25, SST

Reduzierventil LPR25

Dome loaded reducing valve (D)

Description

Low pressure reducing valves control secondary pressure (p2, behind valve). The low pressure reducer LPR is used in chemical and pharmaceutical industries for blanketing or inertization of reactors, storage tanks and vessels with inert gas such as nitrogen.

Technology

The spring loaded construction with large diaphragm provides an excellent control performance. A lever mechanism with guided valve enables fine regulation of output pressure even at high secondary pressure as well as high flow rate without negative influence.

Application

The low pressure reducer LPR/D works similar to LPS. But in addition, a dome pressure of up to 2000 mbar relative can be applied via “D-connection”. So the regulator can be used with higher reference pressure to "blow-out" vessels for example. A pneumatic control unit can be offered and delivered accordingly.
