Low pressure reducing valve LPR/N25, SST
Negative pressure reducing valve (N)
Description
Low pressure reducing valves control secondary pressure (p2, behind valve). The low pressure reducer LPR is used in chemical and pharmaceutical industries for blanketing or inertization of reactors, storage tanks and vessels with inert gas such as nitrogen.
Technology
The spring loaded construction with large diaphragm provides an excellent control performance. A lever mechanism with guided valve enables fine regulation of output pressure even at high secondary pressure as well as high flow rate without negative influence.
Application
The low pressure reducer LPR/N works under vacuum conditions with back pressure (p2) slightly below atmospheric pressure. Pressure ranges vary between -220 mbar relative and +5 mbar relative. LPR/N is a perfect pressure reducer for inertization applications under vacuum conditions.
