The secondary high-pressure regulator is the ideal regulator for pressure control. It can be used wherever pressure has to be kept constant or limited. Handling and maintenance is very simple. The regulator is mainly used in chemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industry.
Dome loadet pressure regulators are high performance PCV’s for gas and liquids with reference to dome pressure.
The dome pressure will be permanently adjusted via dome connection or fully remote supported with help of vacuum, instrument air or nitrogen. Under non operating conditions, the dome pressure holds the valve open via diaphragm and stem. Under operating conditions, medium enters from primary side (p1) through the valve to secondary side (p2) and reaches counter side of diaphragm. As a result, the secondary pressure (p2) is exactly in balance with dome pressure. The valve will immediately be closed as soon as secondary pressure (p2) raises dome pressure.
Valve will be openagain, with secondary pressure below set point. Valve seat tightness is at least according to VDI/VDE 2174.
Dome loadet pressure regulators are vacuum-proof, manufactured in decreasing design and uses no external energy.
